The Ancient Parish Church of St George is thought to stand on the site of an early Saxon Church. The Norman Church was modified in the fourteenth and nineteenth centuries. The development of Middleton St George in the industrial revolution and beyond have meant it is now some distance from the populace and the building is not served by modern amenities.

This church is used for occasional offices which include weddings, funerals and baptisms. We also hold services to mark special events during the year. Regular Sunday worship is held at St George's Primary Academy, Neasham Road, Middleton St George

We are called to serve our community and the world, to care for and respect one another. We are here for all, regardless of any distinction, called to be the church in this place.

Together we worship, we learn, we have fun and we are committed to following Jesus.

Why not come and find out for yourself!
